A few days ago - TOI was gloating at its high circulation numbers. Apparently, a full 30% Indians turn to TOI for their news. According to TOI - the reason for this apparent success is the fact that TOI has been able to break away from "journalistic bias". I am not sure what they mean by that phrase but if by journalist bias they mean high journalistic and news gathering standards then they have certainly been able to break away from it. Today's coverage of Ayodhya attack in Times of India exemplifies this breaking away.

Times of India's articles seems to have been written by an amateaur. It omits a lot of relevant details - for god's sake it does not even give the time of the attack. Bravo Times of India - now we fully know how fully 30% Indians are getting mislead.
