Times of India is
carrying an article on its website on how some IITians find jobs in Indian bureaucracy to be more exciting than with a multinational organization. Some of the reasons given for this enchantment include power, social prestige and chance to make a difference to the lives of the people.
The question is then that with so many brilliant people how is it that our bureaucracy is so corrupt and in collusion with the politicians is almost always an impediment to growth and prosperity?
